A Missouri woman accidentally shot herself with a gun she purchased to protect herself from the speculated upcoming rioting in Ferguson. The woman, 26-year-old Becca Campbell, was riding in a car with her boyfriend through a section of downtown St. Louis on Friday night when the couple was in an accident.
The unnamed boyfriend, who was driving, tells police that they had purchased the firearm because of their fears about the unrest that will follow the announcement whether or not Officer Darren Wilson will be indicted for the murder of Michael Brown. “We’re ready for Ferguson,” Campbell said, according to her beau.
He says that Campbell jokingly waved her new weapon around, and that he ducked to get out of the way of the gun. The panic caused him to rear-end another car, and the gun to fire, earning his irresponsible girlfriend a bullet in the head from her newfound killing tool.
Campbell, despite her fear of the coming Fergpocalypse, was apparently a supporter of Michael Brown. Unfortunately, paranoia over rioting coupled with irresponsibility got the best of her and led to her untimely death.
As of yet, the Grand Jury has not reached a decision regarding Wilson’s indictment.
