Want to commit your own disgusting acts of Palestinian genocide? Well Google Play is the place for you.
Now, you may load up your Android with a game that allows you to pilot your very own Israeli Air Force jet over densely populated areas to bomb “terrorists.”
Of course, the game is set up so that you may rack up some “collateral damage” as you indiscriminately mow down civilians–the sort of thing that leads to 627 Palestinians dead since the kickoff of Israel’s relentless attacks on July 7.
Recently, an Israeli lawmaker posted a call for Palestinian genocide in a now-deleted Facebook post. Ayelet Shaked, a member of the Israeli parliament posted that “This is a war. It is not a war against terror, and not a war against extremists, and not even a war against the Palestinian Authority. These too are forms of avoiding reality. This is a war between two people. Who is the enemy? The Palestinian people.”
She later added, “I don’t know why it’s so hard for us to define reality with the simple words that language puts at our disposal. Why do we have to make up a new name for the war every other week, just to avoid calling it by its name. What’s so horrifying about understanding that the entire Palestinian people is the enemy?
As if declaring war on an entire people, something her nation should remember does not work out well, was not bad enough, she called for all-out extermination:
“Behind every terrorist stand dozens of men and women, without whom he could not engage in terrorism. They are all enemy combatants, and their blood shall be on all their heads. Now this also includes the mothers of the martyrs, who send them to hell with flowers and kisses. They should follow their sons, nothing would be more just. They should go, as should the physical homes in which they raised the snakes. Otherwise, more little snakes will be raised there.”
Genocide, no matter how great the hatred, is never an answer–and a video game that makes light of the concept needs not exist.
