Ammon Bundy, son of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, says that he and his best 150 domestic, fhome-grown terrorists don’t like the title of “terrorist.”
The FBI has called the group that occupied the east Oregon federal wildlife refuge, “domestic terrorists.”
The agency sees protecting the U.S from terrorist attacks as their top priority. On the FBI webpage, the following statement is posted:
“Working closely with a range of partners, we use our growing suite of investigative and intelligence capabilities to neutralize terrorist cells and operatives here in the U.S., to help dismantle extremist networks worldwide, and to cut off financing and other forms of support provided by terrorist sympathizers.”
This is just the latest act terrorism for the ranchers who are offended that they have to pay rent for grazing their livestock on national parks.
Earlier in the year, the armed domestic terrorists gathered on Cliven Bundy’s range for a standoff with the federal government.
The FBI continues monitoring the terrorists’ acts. In a statement, the FBI said that it is:
“Working with the Harney County Sheriff’s Office, Oregon State Police and other local and state law enforcement agencies to bring a peaceful resolution to the situation the takeover.”
Hopefully, the siege will be over soon, so that this will be limited to the mildest form of terrorism. However, this group of agitated men are like a box of matches. It wouldn’t take much to set them off.
That is why the FBI is keeping a close eye on the group.
