Apparently not content with just handing out suckers or free toasters, a Canadian bank decided it needed to go a bit further to thank their most loyal customers.
Changing their ATM from an “automated teller machine” to an “automated thanking machine,” TD Canada Trust made the day of some of their closest customers with uniquely personalized gifts.
Greeted by an unusually human voice, customers stopping by the “ATMs” received a personalized greeting and a special gift from TD. Showing a clear awareness of their customers, some of the gifts are so uniquely personalized and profound that the recipients can’t help but break down a little.
Too often, at least in America, banks just seem to be evil organizations designed to rob people. Perhaps they forget all those customers are real people. It’s good to see that a bank can give back a little.
