We found this posted on one of our favorite liberal sites, Democratic Underground, and had to share.
The experiment featured in this video was conducted by Dr. de Waal of Emory University and presented at a TED Talk. Dr. de Waal is famous for researching the social intelligence of animals and this particular experiment investigates the reaction of a Capuchin monkey when “paid” unequally for completing the same task. The monkeys receive a piece of either cucumber or a grape, grapes being the more desirable option, in exchange for handing the scientists a rock. Did the monkey mind being paid less for the same work?
We think the way the shortchanged monkey reacts speaks for itself.
Dr. de Waal humorously points out in the video,
This is basically the Wall Street protest that you see right here.
Watch the amazing video!
