Isiah Tweedie received quite a shock after a meal with friends at the Fire Mountain restaurant in Lansing Charter Township, MI on Wednesday. Upon exiting the restaurant, another patron thought it would be prudent to inform Tweedie about God’s loving opinion of his sexual orientation in the typical “Christian” manner: by calling him a “f*cking f*ggot.”
“This is a man who is deep in his beliefs to the point of delusion,” Tweedie told WILX.
Tweedie recorded the incident on his cell phone. capturing Victor Sadet‘s um…Bible lesson. Sadet says that his “religious principles” led him to share his views with the random LGBT stranger he happened to see in a restaurant. And share them, he did!
“I said, ‘f*cking f*ggot.’ You want a picture? Take a picture,” Sadet can be seen saying outside Fire Mountain. “Take a f*cking picture. You want to see a picture? You want me to move f*cking closer? Take a f*cking picture!” the “loving Christian” said as he approached Tweedie.
He added,”I’m an American, born in America,” to which Tweedie replied, “I’m an American too, honey.”
“You’re a f*cking f*ggot,” Sadet replied.
“I am a f*cking f*ggot,” Tweedie agreed sarcastically.
“God’s law — Leviticus, Leviticus — you should be put to death–death by stoning,” Sadet screamed at Tweedie.
“We came in here and spent 50 dollars on a meal, only to leave and be harassed,” Tweedie wrote on Facebook.
He posted the video, which shows the events unfolding, along with the message.
Fire Mountain made a brief statement about the incident, indicating that they called the police after the ‘not-bigot’ assailed Tweedie.
