Sarah Palin has launched her own internet channel which a source close to the project described to Capital New York as “a video version of her Facebook page,” which she will charge $9.99 a month or $99.95 a year for — in other words more than Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime. There is one person who will not be signing up for a subscription.
On her own Pivot show, “TakePart Live,” Monday, McCain told co-host Jacob Soboroff and guest Metta World Peace:
“I am not going to subscribe to Sarah Palin’s 9.99 a month. I got all my Sarah Palin that I need for one lifetime.”
No one can blame her. She is certainly aware that her father’s ill advised choice of Palin as a running mate played a large part in his loss in the 2008 election.
In her promotional video, Palin squeaks in that fingernails on the chalkboard voice:
“This is a news channel that really is a lot more than news. This is a community, where we’re going to be able to share ideas and discuss the issues of the day and we’re gonna find solutions. Are you tired of the media filters? Well, I am, I always have been so we’re gonna do something about it.”
