Sean Hannity is little more than a spinster and propagandist, with the added feature of being gratingly arrogant. Thus, like that one time you finally manage to whack the mole, it’s immensely satisfying to watch the man get smacked down by guests on his own show. Just such an incident happened during Hannity’s “conversation” with Patricia Bynes, a Democratic politician from Ferguson, Missouri.
The interview immediately got off on the wrong foot when Hannity started with “Where you there at the shooting? Then you don’t know if this whole case is about police brutality,” since apparently video footage doesn’t exist. However, the smackdown came when Hannity attempted to fill the role of “educator,” a role he’s probably no better at filling than the role of interviewer:
Hannity: “Let me educate you about the legal system in America.”
Bynes: “I don’t need your kind of education.”
I don’t have much else to add to that. That’s the perfect comeback.
