When we feel good about ourselves we tend to be more successful in all of our undertakings. When we do not feel good about ourselves we tend to heap one failure on top of the next.
That has been the story of Jim Wolf’s life for decades. An Army veteran, Jim has struggled with alcoholism, homelessness and poverty for decades. His life was going nowhere and there were no prospects for improvement — until September when he agreed to undergo a personal makeover offered free of charge by Degage Ministries a Michigan based homeless advocacy group.
His transformation was filmed with time-lapse photography to be used as a promotional piece for the group, the change and his reaction to it is nothing short of amazing. With his new self-image Jim has finally turned his life around and is maintaining sobriety for the first time in decades. His future looks brighter now than he ever imagined it might be. This is one video you will want to see with as little description of the content as possible, in fact it is hard to put into words what it conveys with pure emotion.
Watch Jim’s transformation in the video below, prepare to be brought to tears.
