Elizabeth Warren managed to confuse and/or anger (who can ever really tell) Palin by suggesting that workers fight for fair pay. “We believe Fast Food Workers deserve a livable wage,” Warren said in a clip Palin played. “When they take to the picket line, we are proud to fight alongside them,” Warren said.
Fight for a fair wage? That’s socialist talk! Palin lit into the liberal propaganda spewer in the best way she knows how: with an incoherent, babbling barrage of slurred speech, of course! She rambled:
“We believe”? Wait, I thought fast food joints, hurh. Don’t you guys think that they’re like of the Devil or somethin’ I was. Liberals, you want to send those evil employees who would dare work at a fast food joint then ya just don’t believe in, thought you wanted to, I dunno, send them to Purgatory or somethin’ so they all go VEGAN and, uh, wages and picket lines I dunno they’re not often discussed in Purgatory, are they? I dunno why are you even worried about fast food wages because dha. Well, we believe, in America where minimum wage jobs–they’re not lifetime gigs. They’re stepping stones.
Did anyone understand any of that?
At the end of her ramblings, Palin managed to string together a few words that form a complete thought: Minimum wage jobs are just “stepping stones.” While they may “believe” that, their assumption is nearly as ignorant as the concept of Creationism.
Women 25 and older make up 1/3 of all minimum wage workers. In fact, teenagers only make up about 1/4 of all minimum wage workers. Many “stepping stones” last a lifetime. Even most GOP voters realize that the minimum wage is unlivable, but still refuse to do anything about the problem.
The Sarah Palin Channel may be a nearly unwatchable echo chamber of moronic misinformation, lies, and incoherent babbling…but we have to admit it’s comedy gold.
