While it may not be news that the Teapublican-infested House of Representatives is incredibly useless, you may be surprised at exactly how utterly, mind-blowingly, unproductive the current Congress has been.
MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow proves to us with facts, figures, charts, a little glowing arrow, and other “liberal propaganda” that the current Congress makes the “do-nothing Congress” of ’47-’48 (which was criticized for passing what, at the time, seemed like a pathetically tiny number of bills) seem industrious when compared to Boehner’s clan of Teahadists.
Perhaps, had they focused on something besides Benghazi and Obamacare things may be different.
Maddow ends the segment by pointing out that the current Congress still has time to actually do something productive but, as she says, “They could triple their output next year and still set a new record low for utter futility by a complete US Congress.”
