Rachel Maddow, like the rest of us, got a great laugh from watching the 5th GOP debate that aired on December 15th.
However, it wasn’t all sh*ts and giggles; some of the things that were being said by America’s Republican leaders were down-right unnerving.
Highlighting the MANY false statements made by the GOP during the debate, Maddow’s emotional range tended to vary.
While these circus clowns are usually pretty hilarious, the reality is that we may be stuck with one of them leading the country soon.
..And that sh*t isn’t funny.
With Carly Fiorina blaming President Obama for David Petraeus resigning when it’s public record that he resigned in 2003, the stage was set for a real big night of stupid.
Then Chris Christie ignorantly thanks President Obama for “inviting Russia into Syria.”
Looking puzzled, Maddow explains that Russia has had an outpost in Syria for over 40 years.
“Gosh darn you, Barack Obama, for traveling back in time and inviting Russia into Syria when you were 10 years old in 1971. That was so reckless.”
Watching the great American joke, Donald Trump, make a complete fool of himself, was not as funny as it usually is.
When talking about the country’s “nuclear triad” Trump had pretty much nothing of value to say.
He wasn’t able to answer most questions asked of him, as per the usual, but when those questions are in regards to topics vital to the protection of our people…that sh*t isn’t funny either.
Maddow had this to say:
“Can the Republican Party hold up its end of the debate? What would the Republican Party become on national security after the disaster of Bush and [Dick] Cheney? Huge question. Huge, important question. Please, God, let this not be their final answer.”
Answer: We would have died.
