This needed to be said, and I am so happy our president stood up and said it.
President Obama has spoken out against the recent remarks by Republican candidate, Jeb Bush, in which Bush stated that Muslim refugees were just shit out of luck, or at least they should be.
In an interview with CNN Sunday morning, Bush made this idiotic statement:
“There are a lot of Christians in Syria that have no place now. They’ll be either executed or imprisoned, either by Assad or by ISIS. And I think we should have — we should focus our efforts as it relates to the Christians that are being slaughtered.”
“As it relates to the refugees, I think we need to do thorough screening.”
Why is it that religious people cannot value another person’s life if they have differing belief systems?
President Obama was just as grossed out as we were when it came to the remarks made by the dumbass.
He released this statement regarding what America is all about, to the G20 summit on Monday:
“When I hear folks say that well maybe we should just admit the Christians but not the Muslims, when I hear political leaders suggesting that there would be a religious test for which person who’s fleeing from a war torn country is admitted. When some of those folks themselves come from families who benefited from protection when they were fleeing political persecution, that’s shameful. That’s not American, that’s not who we are.”
“We don’t have religious tests to our compassion.”
This speech is everything that needed to be said on the matter. This kind of rhetoric is nothing more than un-American hate propaganda for the goofy ass masses, and boy will they soak it up.
One thing is for certain, while Jeb Bush may not be the dumbest Bush man, he certainly is the dumbest looking.
Watch this morning’s amazing speech below.
