Monday’s nights edition of The Daily Show opened with the show’s host, Jon Stewart, taking his comedic talents and bashing the Obama Administration over the head with them. The focus of Stewart’s ire? The error-plagued roll-out of the Affordable Care Act’s Federal exchange site, healthcare.gov.
Breaking into song, joking about the cosmetic change of the model whose face was being used on the exchange’s landing page, and mocking the left’s talking point of “fix it, don’t nix it,” the veteran comedian lambasted the White House and all those making excuses for the troublesome introduction of the exchanges.
The faux-news anchor didn’t stop lay his criticisms solely at the doorstep of the White House though. He also blasted Congress for being completely computer illiterate and not techno-savvy at all.
And no Daily Show segment would be complete with a bashing of the media’s handling of the roll-out issues.
