The entire world was angered by the recent terror attacks that took the lives of at least 129 people in Paris, France, on Friday.
Hacker group, Anonymous, released a message on Sunday, in regards to ISIS.
The group has waged “total war” on religious extremists.
In a YouTube video posted by the hackers, a masked man with a French accent delivers a threat to the group of rampaging, psychopathic terrorists:
“War is declared. Get prepared. The French people are stronger than you and will come out of this atrocity even stronger. Anonymous from all over the world will hunt you down. You should know that we will find you and we will not let you go. We will launch the biggest operation ever against you.”
This may seem like a silly threat from a group of hackers to a murderous gang, but anonymous has actually been very productive in shutting down ISIS via the internet.
According to Raw Story:
“Anonymous has targeted ISIS for a number of months; the group has revealed the Twitter accounts of ISIS members and hacked a number of ISIS sites. Foreign Policy estimates that Anonymous has dismantled at least 149 of the extremist group’s affiliated websites, and flagged approximately 101,000 Twitter accounts and nearly 6,000 propaganda videos.”
Anonymous says ISIS can “expect massive cyber attacks” in the near future.
Thank you, Anonymous, for doing your part in the war on terrorism.
