Right-wing hero, menace, woman-beater, racist, and child-killer George Zimmerman’s violent nature is on full display again in a newly-released police video. Zimmerman has had several run-ins with the law since his acquittal on murder charges for stalking and killing unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin which detail a pattern of violence, especially gun violence. Back in November, Zimmerman was taken into custody after a domestic dispute on charges of aggravated assault with a weapon, battery and criminal mischief in which he pointed a shotgun at his girlfriend’s face. Charges were dropped when Zimmerman’s girlfriend, 27-year-old Samantha Scheibe recanted, claiming in a sworn statement that she was “intimidated” and “misinterpreted” during police questioning.
But this video tells a different story, adding new violent detail to the incident. The police questioner was not intimidating, and we can see Scheibe acting out Zimmerman’s gestures — including cocking a shotgun and pointing it in her face. Why should this guy still have access to firearms? Does Zimmerman have to shoot someone else before something is done about his violent nature?
