One thing about making a fool of himself on television, Dennis Rodman did one thing. If you understand – if you understand what Dennis Rodman did. Do you understand what he did? In this country?
While Dennis Rodman is participating in the entertainment of Kim Jong Un’s birthday, he took a moment to have a bizarre meltdown on CNN. When Chris Cuomo asked Rodman about Kenneth Bae, an American who is imprisoned in North Korea on ambiguous charges, Rodman began to flip out.
“The one thing about politics, Kenneth Bae did one thing. If you understand — if you understand what Kenneth Bae did,” Rodman said. “Do you understand what he did? In this country?”
“What did he do?” Cuomo said. “you tell me.”
“You tell me,” Rodman said. “You tell me. Why is he held captive?”
As he ranted and raved about sacrifice, yet failing to sacrifice a moment to complete a full sentence, it was clear that the mind that Rodman lost, had lost its mind, which then lost its mind. Rodman forcefully pointed his cigar towards the camera like an old timey gangster and proceeded to ramble on about politics…or non-politics… like a drunken uncle who’s been at the bar since noon. He did not give a “rat’s ass” what Cuomo thought. Finally, Rodman cooled his jets and allowed a much calmer Charles Smith explain the player’s “non-political” stance to Cuomo, but not before screaming like an idiot on TV for a solid two minutes or so.
