‘Walking Dead’ Actress Connected to Obama/Bloomberg Ricin Letter (Video)

In a bizarre twist to a developing story, a Texas actress has been arrested in connection to the case of Ricin-tainted letters sent to President Barack Obama and NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg last week, according to a report from NBC News.

Shannon Rogers Guess Richardson, 38, of New Boston, Texas was arrested in Arkansas after she originally called authorities claiming that her husband, a 33-year-old Army veteran, was the one who had sent the letters.

The Secret Service confirmed last week that a ricin-laced letter addressed to Obama was intercepted before reaching the president. The letter had similarities to those sent earlier to New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and the gun control group he backs.

“You will have to kill me and my family before you get my guns,” the letter said. “Anyone [who] wants to come to my house will get shot in the face. The right to bear arms is my constitutional, God-given right and I will exercise that right till the day I die. What’s in this letter is nothing compared to what I’ve got planned for you.”

Richardson has appeared in minor television roles in shows such as The Vampire Diaries and The Walking Dead, as well the movie The Blind Side.

  1. Calling her a Walking Dead actress in the title description is like calling Heinz Ward a ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ actor instead of a football player. Total overreach.

  2. these people are beyond idiots; they are total and complete fools, jerks, pond scum, creeps, low life, imbeciles.

  3. Actually, I don’t think you guys actually understood the content of the article. Someone completely unrelated sent the ricin-laced letters. The actress is only guilty of falsely accusing her husband of the crime. She did not commit the actual crime. She’s obviously still nuts, though…

  4. It’s impossible to say, at this point, if the radical letter actually expressed her political views or was part of setting her husband up. My guess is it was part of the set up.

  5. Teabaggers Swallow

Like all things in the Bible, these ignorant ass drippings pick and choose only the parts of the Bible that further their anti-American, anti Democratic, freedom hating, racist agenda. They are terrorists, nothing more, and assholes like this continually prove it.

  6. Walking Dead actress? Isn’t that reaching a little? She was a zombie.

    • Are you suggesting that that’s her alibi? She couldn’t have sent the ricin letters, because she was eating brains at the time? There has to be some DNA evidence in play here.

  7. People act like the gun is their main thing in life, they talk about the second amendment ,and how important it is and it’s God given right yea right. If you own a gun and you don’t use it to kill somebody, and your a responsible person no body going to come to your house an take you guns away. You could run into a major problem if you keep threaten people . all the talks I haven’t not heard one time that they were going to take your guns away.everybody should be check before they can buy a gun,if you haven’t made a fool out your self or commit a crime with a gun or kill people I DON’T THINK THEY WILL COME TO TAKE YOUR GUNS!

  8. These people have no brain activity. If I believed it was a god given right I would wonder what people did before guns, did god not care about them as much? Guns and religion go hand in hand…

  9. And society has a God-given right to imprison her for a very long time.

  10. Oh look another gun nut gone WaKo! How in the Hell does she have access to ricin?????

  11. Don’t think this has anything to do with gun rights. She set her husband up to take the fall. Mailed the letter, called the authorities and said she found evidence he had done it. I think divorce is cheaper.

    • But vendetta is better than divorce in many of these cases. Real scary woman

    • @ Chris K- Wow- you are so far the only one who understands it was a bad attempt (like something out of a LifeTime Movie?) to eliminate her husband. The other commenters seem to be so bent to the left they can’t see this for what it was.

To the haters on this site- she was trying to deflect attention away from herself- she wrote and sent the letters to the opposite of her beliefs, to all of the people the media would key in on.

Please, people- try to take an objective look at this ladies motivations and actions.

      • How are you so attuned to her motivations and her political views? I have read several articles about this and while it is apparent that she was out to get her husband, for whatever reason, there is nothing to suggest that she is anti gun. The one and only place that I have seen that asserted is in your post. Maybe she thought she would kill two birds with one stone, get rid of hubby and make a political statement. I don’t know and I don’t believe you do either.

  12. I think she will have to leave her guns at home. They don’t allow weapons where she is headed. One less crazy idiot off the streets.

  13. Did that actress really believe that she had a God-given right to shoot anyone in the face. What about: Thou shall not kill? (commit murder)
