Ditto-head “Tony In Tampa” may have gotten more than he bargained for when he called in to the Rush Limbaugh show recently. Of course, Tony predictably launched into the typical deranged nonsense for which conservatives like Rush and his disciples are known. Tony started off with a rant about how a Republican could never get away with “endless golf, and endless vacations.” Apparently, this guy wasn’t around for Bush’s reign of terror since Dubya still holds the record for most days asleep at the switch…I mean…on vacation, of any president in history. Then Tony unleashed a tirade against Fox “news” and a list of other news outlet talking heads before claiming that wind-farms and solar panels are actually a Stalinist attack on America.
Then, in a shocking moment of candor, Rush said, “You’ve got to stop watching these people.”
Indeed. A study released in May of 2012 showed that Fox News viewers are less informed than people who watch no news at all! Among the most informed were viewers of The Daily Show, Sunday morning talk shows, and NPR.
