Fox News cupcake Megyn Kelly asked her guest, Senator Ted Cruz (R- Canada) what it’s like to be “the most hated man in America?”
Again, the narrative is boiled down to simplistic questions. Ted Cruz did not shut down the government by himself. But he had positioned himself as the fearless leader of the band of a freedom loving group determined to save America from health insurance.
The shock is that the query is coming from a Fox News commentator.
After demurring for a bit, Cruz was forced to address Kelly’s question.
Of course it’s the fault of some Democrats and President Obama. He then took a right turn and quoted Shakespeare- after all he is Ivy League.
Senator Tail-gunner cited Hamlet: “me thinks she doth protest too much.”
Would that be Ms. Kelly? Are the collective Democrats she?
It doesn’t matter what he says.
Very important parts of the government have ground to a halt. People not only want it back up and functioning, citizens have accepted Obamacare. Many want and need it.
This cannot be reiterated too often. A group of anti-government folks, who choose to take taxpayers money to serve in the national legislature, cut a huge swatch through federal
functioning to protest extending health coverage.
The motive is evil and the result is devastating.
Instead of trying to deflect and demur and debate, Cruz and comrades need to find a way to get the federal government up and running again.
In total, not piece by piece.
Do folks in Canada breathe a sigh of relief that Cruz move to the United States?
Remember, if the voters of Texas wise up and retire their junior Senator and thus he loses his government health coverage, he can always access the Canadian system.
