The Blaze took a moment from its busy day of demonizing President Obama to lament a woman’s loss of employment over the Ferguson protests–specifically, her comments regarding them. An unidentified woman was terminated from Memorial Hermann in Houston, Texas after she very publicly shared her FINAL SOLUTION to the Ferguson protests–Slaughter.
The woman wrote of the predominantly African-American protesters:
“The police need to just start mowing them down with machine guns, purge them.”
“Very racist,” one man told KHOU upon seeing the post. “I was highly offended.” The man noticed that the unnamed woman worked at Memorial Hermann Southeast.
“It shouldn’t be tolerated when you’re a professional,” he explained. “A hospital is a place where you’re supposed to have compassion upon people of all races.”
The post spread around the internet, and eventually the hospital learned of its employee’s disgusting race-based hatred. Given the sensitive nature of her work, her employer determined that it was best to remove her from the situation entirely.
KHOU legal analyst Gerald Treece said that “People have the right of free speech, but employers can fire you for whatever they want in the state of Texas.”
The woman’s post has since been removed, according to KHOU.
Some may view this as a lesson that, if you enjoy being employed, you should not (publicly, at least) espouse horrible, bigoted viewpoints–like that scores of African-Americans should be slaughtered.
The fine folks at The Blaze, however, disagree.
It’s always sickening to watch racists flock to one another’s defense.
