Two men and two women with AR-15s slung over their shoulders took to the streets in East Price Hill, a predominately black neighborhood in Cincinnati, Ohio, then posted a video of their outing to Youtube.
During their demonstration the foursome was spewing racial slurs and flaunting their weapons.
One of the men in the video, later identified as Jesse Deboard, is heard saying,
“Broad day, you see this? Walking down the street with an AR-15, n*gger.”
After being stopped by police officers, Deboard also brazenly claims,
“Open carry in the state of Ohio, the cops can’t do nothing.”
An Ohio cop who encountered the foursome calmly explained to the group,
“Like you said, it’s your right to do that, it makes no sense to me I mean, unless you just want attention and us to stop you and ask you. I just don’t understand it, that’s all. I’ve seen enough of these YouTube videos where everybody just tries to get the cop to stop them.”
It makes sense to us. Sad little people with sad little lives have nothing better to do than try and intimidate citizens with their dangerous toys. It’s not any more complicated than that, folks.
Great news though!
After police reviewed the video, Jesse Deboard was charged with menacing by stalking and violation of a protection order and is being held on a $25,000 bond and Stephanie Koverman has also been charged. Warrants have been issued for the other two in the video, identified as Christina Tharp and Chris Masters, although the charges have not been specified at this time.
