Donald Trump is doing what he does best — talking directly out of his undoubtedly orange ass.
Even though the Oompa Loompa has never served in the military or even set foot in a war-zone, he has serious opinions about a soldier who left his post in Afghanistan in 2009.
Bowe Bergdahl was charged in March with desertion and misbehavior before the enemy. As a result of leaving his post, he was captured by the Taliban and held as a P.O.W. for five years, until the United States government traded five Taliban commanders for his release.
Donald Trump has always been vocal about his opinions of Bergdahl’s case, like he is with any other thing he knows nothing about.
However, at a rally in Las Vegas Thursday morning, Trump told
a herd of sheep his followers that Bergdahl should be executed for his crime, and that if it were 30 years ago, he surely would have been.
Trump spoke for all Americans when he said:
“We’re tired of Sgt. Bergdahl, who’s a traitor, a no-good traitor, who should have been executed. Thirty years ago he would have been shot.”
The group of drunken goons attending this rally in the Treasure Island Hotel/casino theater cheered at the sound of Trump’s idiocy.
Then again, what do we really expect from people who are backing a failed businessman — who has filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy four times — for President of the United States?
The only person we are tired of, Mr. Trump, is you! Keep your pseudo-intellectual, incest-loving, rub-on-tanned ass out of our politics. The last thing we need is a failure like you riling up the lead-paint lickers of the country.
Some Americans might take your confidence as wisdom, but the rest of us know better. A person who was once revered as a successful and savvy businessman is now seen for the complete and utter moron that you really are.
In all, you’ve helped the Dems out greatly with the 2016 election. So thank you!
Bergdahl’s attorney had this to say about Trump’s relentless discussion of the case to which he has no facts:
“If he took the time to study what actually emerged at the preliminary hearing he would be singing a different tune.”
