You have to hand it to filmmaker Casey Neistat. He knows how to make a video, and make it count, because when he was approached by Twentieth Century Fox to create a video for the Ben Stiller movie ‘The Secret Life of Walter Mitty‘ he dreamed up something that most people in his position never would have: he asked to spend the entire budget on disaster relief for the Philippines, and Twentieth Century Fox, accepted.
It all started with an email sent to Neistat on November 13th, 2013 from Twentieth Century Fox which read:

Twentieth Century Fox is releasing a new movie, ‘The Secret Life of Walter Middy.’ We want to run a campaign under the concept ‘live your dreams.’ The collective theme of this initiative will be to motive, inspire, and give people a catalyst to do something they’ve never done.
We’d like to know if you’d be interested in creating a video about ‘living your dreams.'[/box]
Neistat’s reply to Twentieth Century Fox was short, and yet incredibly powerful.

Give me the budget, I’ll go to the Philippines, and spend every penny helping people in need.[/box]
The rest of the planning, travelling and filing quickly fell into place over the course of just a few days, and at the end of it all Casey Neistat had produced the following video which nailed Twentieth Century Fox’s initiative to motivate, inspire, and give people a catalyst to do something they’ve never done before.
