In this latest photoshop disaster, the offending group is the NRA.
In a recent piece from Slate, it’s brought to our attention that the image below, which the NRA used in multiple stories on its website, is actually stock photo of a “campaign rally” from Getty images.
And here’s the NRA’s version:
“[W]e must remain vigilant in beating back any attempts to restrict our freedom, while working to ensure we capitalize on any opportunity to strengthen our gun rights,” one of the NRA articles says.
“Any opportunity” is right.
To be fair, Slate says the image “appears” to be photoshopped. But would anyone seriously put it past the NRA to do something like this?
