Referring to Donald Trump, the journalists in Sweden are seriously questioning whether or not U.S. presidential candidates are allowed to be stupid.
Unfortunately, the answer is yes.
With his loud proposal to ban Muslims from entering our country, The Donald has leaped from a crass, national presidential reality show host to a world-wide embarrassment.
Worse, he is undermining our country’s international political negotiations.
Israel‘s left-wing leaning political party, Meretz’s gave a statement to the media.
Chairwoman Zehava Gal-On, told the Jerusalem Post:
“Netanyahu’s willingness to meet with Trump despite his serious racist statements authorizes what the prime minister’s statements showed about him long ago: that there has never been such a racist, irresponsible prime minister.”
In Dubai, Emirati business tycoon, Khalaf al-Habtoor, withdrew his recent support of Trump and told Reuters that he would spurn The Donald:
“He is really creating war. He’s creating hatred between Muslims and Christians.”
Britain is no happier than any of the other countries.
A petition demanding a Trump ban skyrocketed to 370,000 signatures.
Reuters wrote that:
“In the past, people have been banned from entering the United Kingdom for fostering hatred that might provoke intercommunity [sic] violence.”
It isn’t easy for a man to be hated by so many.
Yet he does it with such ease.
