Double speak questions peppered the airways Monday morning days before the dreaded Sequester. Charlie Rose wondered why both sides can’t agree. Is he kidding or just trying to be non partisan about the truth? And there is a plethora of wise references to the “elephant in the room.” We have all heard about these elephants. These are the same elephants who contend the Sequester was Obama’s idea.
The elephant in the room is a GOP pile of loopholes; specifically designed tax breaks for the greedy ultra rich sociopaths who set up the Tea Party Pawns to keep their piles of net worth growing–no matter what the cost to America.
Obama has made it clear that he wants to eliminate the so-called loopholes which will increase government revenue as well as lower the deficit. The ever disingenuous Boehner has agreed with his fingers crossed behind his back. But the Sequester was the result of Teapublican Elephants more concerned for the greedy sociopaths who butter their re-election bread than with their sworn oath to represent the best interests of Americans. To force the United States of American into default by refusing to agree to raise the debt ceiling is an act of sabotage against America’s financial stability and should be considered an act of treason.

The devil made Obama do it (really?): just like the devil made Flip Wilson do it.
Morning Joe, MSNBC’s leading narcissist, along with Barnicle, wondered why Washington “can’t get anything done.” The notion that Sequester was Obama’s idea is akin to thinking that Roosevelt’s recommendation to Congress to fight Japan – after Japan bombed Pearl Harbor – started the Pacific War. Barnicle asked a Democrat Congressman, is there any competence in Washington? Now there is a brilliant example of non partisanship from a member of the 4th Estate! (non partisan about the truth)
Is there any competence in that question, or in so many of the questions surrounding the Teapublican religious right’s obstruction of Congress? What about bringing up the fact that the GOP has been taken over by pre-Dark Age religious zealots? Why can’t the media objectively inform the public that having God on your side creates a surreal certainty about being right, no matter how wrong you may actually be?
Sequester is the ultimate obstruction. Thank you, Elephant! (good night moon!)
