Georgia gun nuts rejoice! Residents may soon be able to carry their weapons into bars and churches thanks to a new bill brought before the Georgia House on Tuesday. The bill would allow state bars and churches to decide for themselves whether or not guns can be brought on to their property.
Let’s not make a fuss about this, because when has anything bad ever happened when guns and alcohol mix? With a vote of 199 to 56, the measure now goes to the Senate. If passed, the bill would also allow secondary schools the right to decide whether teachers and other faculty members can bear arms on school grounds. But not to worry, folks. Why would a school shooting occur when everyone has a gun?
