Louie Gohmert, (R-Crazy), claims that President Obama endorses and finances the actions of Al Qaeda.
Because of this so-called alliance or whatever it is, terrorists will have no problem attacking a mall in the United States, presumably Texas, mirroring the tragedy in Kenya according to Gohmert.
Do our allies fear that supporting the United States will mean a growing number of mass shootings in their countries? Is that the desired result?
Back to the topic. Using Gohmert’s logic, it appears that President George W. Bush was in cahoots with terrorists since they attacked our nation during his tenure.
Perhaps the aggressive drone strikes executed by the current administration is a smokescreen to hide Obama’s fidelity to extremist groups.
Gohmert goes on to state that the Obama Administration is “helping those that want to destroy us and casting aside allies that want to fight against the bad guys.”
A major foreign relations problem is determining consistent allies within internecine struggles. All too often, horrific violence occurs on all sides.
To help the people in areas devastated by war, our leaders must study the history and dynamics of each country and understand long-standing hostilities — and refrain from making moronic statements.
