TEApublicans are walking hypocrites spouting non sequiturs and logical fallacies. All their arguments are hollow, worthless, self-serving jaunts into the worst places a human mind can go. The facts of the matter when it comes to gun violence in the US are clear. Nobody is talking about a ban on all guns. TEApublicans love to instill that fear in already frightened gun nuts. Mother Jones reports:
By cutting off federal funding for research and stymieing data collection and sharing, the National Rifle Association has tried to do to the study of gun violence what climate deniers have done to the science of global warming. No wonder: When it comes to hard numbers, some of the gun lobby’s favorite arguments are full of holes.
Myth #1: They’re coming for your guns.
Fact-check: No one knows the exact number of guns in America, but it’s clear there’s no practical way to round them all up (never mind that no one in Washington is proposing this). Yet if you fantasize about rifle-toting citizens facing down the government, you’ll rest easy knowing that America’s roughly 80 million gun owners already have the feds and cops outgunned by a factor of around 79 to 1.
Myth #2: Guns don’t kill people—people kill people.
Fact-check: People with more guns tend to kill more people—with guns. The states with the highest gun ownership rates have a gun murder rate 114% higher than those with the lowest gun ownership rates. Also, gun death rates tend to be higher in states with higher rates of gun ownership. Gun death rates are generally lower in states with restrictions such as assault-weapons bans or safe-storage requirements.

Comparing guns to spoons shows just how intellectually bankrupt the TEApublican arguments are. Here’s the video of this degenerate twit: Rep. Lou Barletta (R – What else? – PA)
No. Only banning corn-syrup and other cheapskate fillers will reduce obesity, but the GOP and their corporate masters can’t spare the cents.
Criminals use guns that aren’t registered to them duh. Have you ever watched CSI? The gun can be traced. If somebody wants to kill someone and get away with it, it will usually be with a stolen firearm or one bought cheap on the streets (also probably stolen)
That’s why if your guns are out where they can be stolen you should be charged with murder. Someone should not be able to take your guns if your responsible. If your guns get stole you should report it. You also shouldn’t be able to sell a gun without registration think about what we do with cars. It would be nice if we could treat cars like guns. Forget the registration.
Will banning Teapublicans eliminate morons? Of course. But we’re talking about gun violence. Please try to focus.
