You think you’ve heard it all, and then another TEApublican politician opens their mouth yet again and takes it to a whole new level. This week’s Politically Correct Genius Award goes to Maine Governor, Paul LePage. In what appears to be a disagreement about the budget and a possible government shut down, the Governor insists that he’s in the right and that his foe Democratic State Senator Troy Jackson is secretly working against the people.
Or in the Governor’s words, State Senator Jackson “claims to be for the people. But he’s the first one to give it to the people…without providing Vaseline.”
WHAT?! Did he really just say that?
Hilariously enough, the Governor clearly doesn’t realize he said something monumentally stupid and just keeps ranting. He tries to justify his horrible metaphor by blaming Jackson’s “black heart” and the Democratic leadership. Too bad for LePage, once you’ve thrown anal rape jokes out there, it’s pretty hard to come from behind and win back your audience. (See what I did there? ;)
