The former vice chairman of the Delta County GOP in Michigan, morning radio host, member of the Republican party’s central committee Doug Sedenquist was due to appear in court December 3 in Green Bay, Wisconsin to a felony charge that he refused to comply with an officer’s attempt to take him into custody and misdemeanor charges of sending a threatening message and disorderly conduct. In this incident, this responsible Second Amendmenter refused to put down a rifle — which he had pointed at himself — when an officer ordered him to do so.
The 51-year-old Tea Party activist, open-carry advocate, and co-host of Mornings in Michigan, however, was unable to answer for the March 3 incident because he was in custody over the Thanksgiving weekend in Delta County, Michigan–for extortion, aggravated stalking, using a computer to commit a crime, and “possession of a drug chemically similar to a controlled substance.”
All charges, according to the Detroit Free Press, relate to Sedenquist’s ex-wife.
It is wonderful to know that the Tea Party leadership is composed of such wonderful, level-headed, sane, and safe individuals. We can certainly agree that this sociopath stalker criminal has regular access to firearms in order to “defend” us from “tyranny.”
