According to David Horowitz, he of the “I have no idea what a Nazi is” fame, the African American community is the most racist group in the United States. Yes, that’s right: he painted an entire community with a broad brush, while accusing them of being racist.
Horowitz made that comment while discussing the situation in Ferguson, in addition to dredging up a number of conservative fairy tales — citing the lie about Darren Wilson suffering the orbital blowout and and calling Michael Brown a “thug.”
“What is the matter with everybody?” Horowitz opined, adding that “They’ve destroyed a city to get a cop who was defending himself. I mean, if you look at the picture of him in the hospital with his eyesocket practically blown out . . . is there anybody listening to this show who would attack an armed police man in his police car, which is what Michael Brown did?”
I cringed when I saw that eye socket injury. It’s a good thing that person was at the University of Iowa, where they could get treated.
Oh, he means the other picture. Yeah, that was a nasty motorcycle injury, but you know, I’m sure Jim McNeil pulled through.
Horowitz continued, adding that the cop shot him “six times because he’s, you know, he shot warning shots, hit him in the arm, you know, the guy kept coming.”
In what world does being shot in the arm constitute a “warning shot?” That statement is profoundly and fractally wrong, and here are some reasons why: the axillary artery, the anterior humeral circumflex artery, the profunda brachii artery, the brachial artery, the ulnar artery, and radial artery.
“He’s just a thug,” Horowitz says, referring to Brown. “He’s not a kid; most violent crime is committed by people his age.” Horowitz then turns his attention to the community of Ferguson:
They’re not interested in a trial . . . if you’re white, you’re guilty. I mean, that’s the attitude. They’re racist. For crying out tears, they are racists. There’s no community in America that’s more racist than the Black Community. And everyone knows it, but nobody will say it.
And yet, it’s not Black people out there burning crosses and hiding under bed sheets. It’s not Black people who keep flying the Confederate flag, and who take perverse pride tracing their linage to a timocratic nation that lived and died fighting for the “right” to hold Black people in bondage. But then, he considers liberals to be Nazis, so whatever metric on race relations he’s working with was skewed sideways right from the start, and only seems to get worse the deeper we go.
