Renowned Tea Party racist Larry Klayman has such a hate-on for the fact that a black man is president and another is the U.S. attorney general, that he finds it surprising they didn’t rename the White House “The Black House.” In his view, they’ve created such a horrible race war that they “favor their black brothers” over white people in everything they say and do.
Klayman wrote about the police shooting death of Michael Brown in an article on Whirled Nut Daily World Net Daily. Right Wing Watch posted an excerpt from that article, with all of Klayman’s racist nuttery on display for all to see. He whines repeatedly about how Obama and Holder have created an atmosphere where white people can’t speak out about black people, because they’re afraid of being branded racists, or of black vigilantes seeking them out. Obviously, none of this would be a problem with white people in the White House.
And of course laws like the Affordable Care Act are really just ways to force white people to pay reparations to black people for decades of racism, and slavery before that. Clearly, Obama’s true intention is to “melt down the gold in America and redistribute it to [black] people.”
Then he threw out this genuine revelatory nugget:
“Obama’s hatred of Christians, Jews and whites in general is more nuanced and subtle [than that of Louis Farrakhan], but it has become obvious that in his heart the feelings are not dissimilar from those of Farrakhan and his ilk, like Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Rev. Al Sharpton, to name just a few other black anti-white bigots. At this rate, it is remarkable that Obama has not renamed the White House ‘the Black House.’ Clearly, in his way of thinking, the Founding Fathers must have had conspiratorial racist motives in naming the people’s house accordingly.”
Incredibly enough (or maybe not, given this man’s so-called intelligence), Klayman’s history is a little sketchy. The founding fathers didn’t name it the White House. They called it by one of three names: “The President’s Palace,” “President’s House,” and “Executive Mansion.” It was nicknamed the “White House” fairly soon after, because it was whitewashed with a protective lime-based solution. However, that was not the official name of the residence until Theodore Roosevelt’s time.
Obama is smart enough to know that it was always called the “White House” because it’s bright white. And no, Obama’s not a racist, especially not like Klayman.
But Klayman wasn’t finished after that little rant. He then tossed out, “I’m not a racist.” We’re pretty sure some of his best friends are black, too. But he then continues to blame black racists (specifically, Obama and Holder) for racism. Of course he’s not a racist.
