December 8th, 201598My dad had a rifle in the house to scare off the occasional cougar that came to close to our livestock and/or family. When he was younger, he hunted for food. In the Army, Dad was a sharp shooter. So, I am not totally against guns, except when a mass murderer's attack releases an epidemic of gun madness.

A reverend in Georgia has surely blown a few conservative minds with his recent religious rhetoric. Last week, Rev. Dr. David Gushee posted a blog titled, 'Let Us All Now Pray to the Almighty Gun', in which he made a very valid point about the obsession America's conservative elite has with volatile weapons.
