A burglar in Spain has become an unlikely good Samaritan after he got a little more than he bargained for in his bag of loot from a home invasion. Amidst the bounty he carried away from the home of a football coach he had robbed, was a collection of tapes that depicted sexual acts with children as young as 10, which the thief turned into police via an anonymous tip.
The tapes were left underneath a brown car, with a note to police that read as follows:
I have had the misfortune to have these tapes fall into my hands and feel obliged to submit them so you can do your work and put this (expletive) in jail for life.
The video tapes allowed police to identify the burglary victim as the aggressor in the videos, the same burglary victim who had filed a police report about the burglary nine days earlier but left out his video camera and his collection of tapes from the report.
Currently, four of the victims in the videos have been identified, including a 16-year old boy who began being abused in videos like this since the age of 10.
Although the burglar did the right thing by turning the tapes into police, the rest of the items that were stolen are still in the thief’s possession.
