I hope you’re sitting down because Bristol Palin wants to school you on what it means to be a hardworking American citizen. Yes, the same Bristol Palin that danced on tv in a gorilla suit and glamorized teen motherhood with her very own reality show spot.
You see, Miss Palin never had anything handed to her, as she mentions in her amazingly eloquent (albeit short and pointless) blog. She is embarrassed of her fellow millennials because they are lazy and expect the world to be handed to them on a silver platter. Luckily, she’s not like that at all.
Palin’s blog reads,
[box type=”shadow”]’Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth.’ Proverbs 10:4
I came across this Scripture and wanted to pass it along. I love it because it reminds me of my parents and the work ethic they instilled in all of us kids. If you want something, you go out and work for it.
No one owes you anything, and I’m embarrassed to be in a generation that doesn’t have that mindset.
Honest, hard work, is the only way to do it right. Don’t rely on anyone to provide for you.
The world doesn’t owe you anything!”[/box]
You know what– maybe we’re being too hard on Bristol. After all, she did work hard. She slaved away to live in her mother’s villas. She busted her ass to show that being a teen mom is easy when your family is wealthy. And let’s not forget how much hard work went into getting into that gorilla suit.
Thank you, Bristol Palin, for showing us that with a little work ethic (and a lot of money) anything is possible!
