How’s that Open Carry working out for you, Kroger?
Cincinnati.com reports that Cincinnati police are searching for a suspect who robbed a Fifth Third Bank inside of a Westwood Kroger store. The incident occurred at 10:30 in the morning on Wednesday. Police say that the suspect was wearing a gray skeleton mask and carried an open umbrella brandishing a semi-automatic handgun.
Sounds like a demented Mary Poppins to me.
Police say that the bandit demanded cash from the teller, and, after receiving the cash, placed the money in a black nylon bag with white letters before fleeing the bank.
They said that he was believed to have fled to the rear of the adjacent Wal-Mart (because of course), using a trail towards the Four Towers Apartments, which is located nearby.
Clearly, Open Carry Kroger is doing a fine job protecting us from warped Disney characters. Individuals with information are encouraged to call the call Cincinnati Police at 513-263-8300.
