Utah Senator Orrin Hatch refused to endorse his college and Tea Party buffoon Senator Mike Lee. America’s 4th longest-serving Senator, in an interview with Deseret News and KSL-TV said, “I’m not going to get into endorsements at this point in any way.” Hatch, who also serves on Senate GOP re-election committee said,
“The tactics were not the right tactics. It takes experience sometimes to make sure you can use the right tactics.”
The Deseret News reports, “It’s time now,” Hatch said, for Lee and other tea party Republicans to be “rehabilitated” for refusing to pass a budget bill needed to keep the government operating unless money for the act better known as Obamacare was removed.
Recently Hatch expressed his disdain for The Heritage Foundation, and its role in the Tea Party-led government shut down. Hatch is right to be concerned. Ironically, the federal government is conservative Utah’s largest employer, and Senator Mike Lee’s antics have cost the state greatly.
