In a rapidly growing feud between a fake journalist who accurately reports, Jon Stewart, and a fake journalist who rapidly distorts, Sean Hannity, the Fox News icon and ratings disaster Hannity fired another shot at the comedian.
“Jon’s problem is he has his head so far up [President Barack] Obama’s a*s he cannot see clearly,” Hannity said in a statement. This latest barb comes after Stewart accurately called Hannity “loathsome” in an interview with Rolling Stone. “Everything is presented in as devious a manner as it could possibly be presented,” Stewart said of Hannity’s show.
Hannity, like everyone else at Fox, is not a fan of facts — so he, of course, became enraged with Stewart.
“Nearly 50 million Americans on food stamps, nearly 50 million in poverty, the lowest labor participation rate since 1978, and Jon’s beloved president who once said George Bush’s debt was ‘irresponsible and unpatriotic’ has almost accumulated more debt then every other President before him combined,” Hannity wrote. “Do I even need to remind him about keeping our doctors, our health plans and saving money? And how is that healthcare website working out? Or Iraq, Isis, the ‘Russian reset’?”
“Jon’s problem is he has his head so far up Obama’s ass he cannot see clearly, he is obviously better suited to reading his joke writers material, and making his clapping seal audience happy,” Hannity continued. “I await another Rally to Restore Sanity with Fatwah supporter Cat Stevens!!”
This is not the first time Jon Stewart has ruffled Hannity’s feathers.
In April, Stewart called the Fox host out for his insane and hypocritical support of Cliven Bundy, whose decades-long habit of stealing from the government would normally “drive Hannity mad with rage.”
In response, Hannity claimed that ” Stewart and his friends at Comedy Central, they kinda are the chief apologists for the Obama administration — he does suck up a lot, which is why they go on his show.”
Stewart fired back, calling Hannity the “Arby’s of news.”
As this feud escalates, we can only watch in eager anticipation of the proverbial beatdown Hannity will face at the hands of the intellectually superior Stewart. Grab some popcorn!
