Sarah Palin is back, and taking another brave, principled stand against the corruption in the United States government.
During a speech at the Values Voters Summit, Palin slammed the administration with a damaging blow, stating that “the truth was an endangered species at 1400 Pennsylvania Avenue.”
The White House is at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Maybe she was just thinking about a really good place to get “freedom” tattooed on her forehead. After all, getting “For Rent” tattooed there would’ve gotten her booted from the Values Voters Summit; they don’t value honesty.
The half-term Governor of Alaska made the blunder when she accused President Obama of “telling lies,” after speaking at length about the abuse of truth in United States politics. You know, those imaginary abuses of truth, not the real thing.
Palin later poked fun at herself for the mistake in a way only she could, tweeting “Doggone it! That explains my Christmas cards keeps (sic) getting returned!”
I think my favorite comment to this so far comes in twitter user R.J. White, who quipped that:
