Washed up, half-wit, half-term former governor of Alaska and failed Vice Presidential candidate, Sarah Palin, took to the interwebs to wish everyone a very happy Martin Luther King Day.
Now, as we all know from Sarah’s history if she’s not making stupid comments related to slavery, or demanding the blood of the guy who calls her on it, or soon afterwards defending someone’s free (read: hate) speech — Sarah loves chatting about that “lackadaisical,” “shucking and jiving” Barack Obama.
TEApublicans have a yearly tradition in which they try to co-opt the legacy of Dr. King on MLK Day, and, predictably, Sarah enthusiastically participated in the RWNJ fun. Palin added this lovely note to the President at the bottom of her clearly less than genuine well-wishings:
[box type=”shadow”]“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
Mr. President, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. and all who commit to ending any racial divide, no more playing the race card.[/box]
Real classy, as usual, Sarah! Because there’s nothing like a little bit of race-baiting to really emphasize that you’re totally against race-baiting.
