John McCain once again showed he is just another war mongering politician out of touch with reality when he went on Fox News and called the president “cowardly” for refusing to intervene in Ukraine.
McCain’s comments came after pro-Russian separatists apparently downed a passenger airliner on the boarder of Ukraine and Russia. McCain speaking to Sean Hannity said:
“It’s a cowardly administration that we failed to give the Ukrainians weapons with which to defend themselves.”
McCain believes the pro-Russian forces would not have had the capability of shooting down the commercial airliner had Obama intervened in the Ukraine crisis.
Well Salon columnist Joan Walsh had another idea of cowardly when speaking to Al Sharpton on MSNBC:
“You don’t say that about the commander-in-chief,” she told Sharpton.
“This is a man, I respect him for his service, but if we’re going to talk cowardly, somebody tried to put Sarah Palin a heartbeat away from the presidency so that he hoped to hold onto his right-wing base. Somebody that has a lot to atone for and a lot to think about shouldn’t be tossing around words like cowardly.”
This is just more right wing propaganda in a media spectacle to somehow blame the President for the downed airliner. This is more petty right wing logic trying to drum up yet another conspiracy to pen on Obama when all past attempts have disastrously failed.
Watch Joan Walsh slam John McCain.
