Media Mogul Glenn Beck is furious at the Republicans and wants the party defunded.
Beck’s current anger is directed toward House Majority Leader John Boehner (R-Orangeville) for secretly trying to keep the Obamacare exemption while publicly fighting against it.
Mr. Beck, welcome to politics.
Ronald Reagan, former President and saint-like figure, popularized the 11th Commandment which states Republicans should never talk ill of another.
This practice has long been obsolete.
In many cases Republicans, those serving in both Congress and state legislatures, enjoy such well-gerrymandered districts that the only possible opponents are folks from the GOP.
Many politicians are now frantically trying to move to the right to preclude being “primaried” by someone with even more outlandish beliefs.
There are sharp divisions within the party. Some Republicans are upset with the cadre of folks with extreme ideas that cause problems like government shutdowns.
And there are those who are jealous about the media attention that some folks cultivate and receive.
Beck has a new hashtag, “#DefundTheGop” that focuses on getting conservative voters to stop donating to the party. The goal is to reach a cessation of contributions until Boehner is driven from office.
Hear that, Koch Brothers? The financial burden is on you.
