Rand Paul’s Ukraine Foreign Policy: ‘Drilling Every Possible, Conceivable Place’ (Video)

We’re well-aware by now of the right-wing love affair with Vladimir Putin. At On FOX News Sunday, delusional idiot and CPAC straw poll winner Rand Paul discussed his Ukraine foreign policy if he was elected President: Let Russia annex Crimea, drill everywhere we can, and sell the oil to Europe!

“If they annex Crimea, Ukraine will almost certainly come within the Western orbit,” Paul said. “So, it will backfire on them. Because you will be taking Russian-speaking voters that have been speaking for Russian-speaking presidents of Ukraine, you’ll be taking them out of the population.

He added that he would ” do something differently from the president.” Paul explained that he would “immediately get every obstacle out of the way for our export of oil and gas. And I would begin drilling in every possible conceivable place within our territories in order to have production we can supply Europe with if it’s interrupted from Ukraine,” he added.

About John Prager

John Prager
John Prager is an unfortunate Liberal soul who lives uncomfortably in the middle of a Conservative hellscape and likes to refer to himself as an "island of reason in a sea of insanity." While he is not a fan of politicians, period, he has developed a deep-seated hatred for the bigotry, fear mongering, and lies of the Right Wing. John also works as a counselor at one of Barry Soetoro's FEMA re-education camps and as a HAARP weather control coordinator. John's life's aspiration is to rule the world with an iron fist, or find that sock he's been looking for. John can be reached at [email protected] if you have any questions or comments.

Perhaps Rand Paul should start “drilling” up Putin’s ass!
Not only would that be good “practice” for Rand(y) Paul, but most certainly for Putin, he then would at last be back in his old KGB-days… when he b*ttf*cked so many prisoners…….
No doubt bringing back great memories………

That’s right. Try to make money out of any situation….any at all.

Let’s start with some exploratory drilling between Rand’s ears to find out whether he does indeed have sh*t for brains.

    Rand Paul says:

”immediately get every obstacle out of the way for our export of oil and gas. And I would begin drilling in every possible conceivable place within our territories in order to have production we can supply Europe with if it’s interrupted from Ukraine…”

Spoken like a true talking head propaganda mouthpiece for the Imperialists Koch Bros.

    • Shawn Crippen

Hey, RTT–yes–what was I THINKING?? But then, I just assume the Koch brothers are behind any nefarious scheme to screw the country and it’s citizens these days.

And, of course, approve running the XL pipeline right over the shallow aquifer that waters our food. No mention will be made by Republicans like Rand Paul that the tar sands oil sinks in water. We should not approve any pipelines that are planned to get anywhere near our water supply. It’s clear that corporations avoid their responsibilities when things go wrong. Just ask Kentucky. They just declare bankruptcy and reform under another name and say, who, not me. A full three years since a tar sands spill occurred in Michigan and $1B spent on its cleanup, it is not cleaned up. I’m all for Ukraine. We need to do everything that makes sense to help them out. Exposing America’s breadbasket to permanent damage is not one of them.

    • Shawn Crippen

Well said, thehummelr, I’m with you all the way. I believe the people of Ukraine should be able to control their own destiny, but not at the destruction of our environment. The two don’t have to be mutually exclusive issues.

  • Shawn Crippen

Sure he will. Forget that he has to run that by CONGRESS first. Forget the ENVIRONMENT. Forget the people living HERE.
It’s statements like that that pretty much ensure he will never be President.
