Ronald White, a 51-year-old Daytona Beach man, was recently arrested and charged with child abuse after he allegedly hurled racist invectives at two young boys because they were black. The neighbors said that White yelled racial slurs at the children and told them that he was going to let his dog eat them.
White also allegedly poked the 10- and 11-year-old boys with his finger in the forehead and shoulders while hurling racist names at them.
“He poked me with his finger in my head,” one of the children told WFTV9. “He kept saying, ‘You need to wash off your dirty skin’ and ‘My skin is better than yours.'”
White, however, is not ashamed of what he did. In fact, he was proud of it:
When Channel 9’s Roy Ramos spoke with White, the man didn’t deny accusation that he is a racist.
When Ramos asked about allegations that he threatened the children with his dog, White laughed. His neighbors at the Morris Town Apartments said they don’t believe it is a laughing matter.
“I didn’t put my hands on nobody. Get the (expletive) away,” said White.
“Get the (expletive) out of my way. I am a racist. I hate n*****,” White told Ramos.
Residents in the community told Ramos that they have been dealing with White for six months. They said they believe White is proving to be a threat not only themselves, but the children in the area.
“I don’t hurt nobody, never have,” said White.
White denied wanting to physically hurt anyone. He was recently arrested by Daytona Beach police and charged with battery after Tammy Jones alleged White threatened her and her son with his dog.
“Me and my son are trying to cross the road right here on Clyde Morris at Morristown Apartments and he is siccing the dog on us,” Jones told the 911 operator.
It should surprise nobody that White has an extensive criminal history including incidents of check fraud and drug possession, and was facing eviction, as well.
