Justin Lookadoo is a Christian motivational speaker with an unfortunate name. Mr. Lookadoo discovered this last year when some members of his high school audience created the hash-tag #lookadouche to express their displeasure with his decidedly chauvinistic, archaic, and overtly religious dating advice. It seems that Mr. Lookadoo has run afoul of the law.
According to The Raw Story:
Indiana police said they found Justin Lookadoo pulled over on the side of the road early Tuesday morning. He claimed he had pulled over to take a nap, but authorities said that the car smelled of alcohol and could see vomit on the passenger seat. After failing a field sobriety test and recording a blood-alcohol content of .07, police arrested him on a charge of public intoxication. On the day of his arrest, he had been scheduled to speak with middle school students at a Teen Power Camp.
Why Mr. Lookadoo isn’t being charged with the more serious crime of DUI is a question the Indiana authorities may need to answer in the future. According to this video that Lookadoo posted to YouTube, it does not matter if drinking alcohol is right or wrong, the real question is, “Is it holy?” However, breaking the law certainly is not holy, therefore it seems rather likely that there will be some highly public repenting in Lookadoo’s future.
