Let’s step away from politics for a moment to engage in a little DIY-project: a tinfoil and match rocket launcher.
This video, posted on YouTube by the “King of Random“, is a fun little DIY project that’ll show you how to make tiny tinfoil rockets from common and relatively cheap materials in under 7 minutes.
I’ve never been a fan of DIY projects. I have the attentiveness of a fruit fly unless I’m enjoying the project, in which case, good luck getting me back. A DIY project that takes longer than 10 minutes is probably one that’s destined for failure, as far as I’m concerned.
It’s a good thing this one doesn’t; next sunny and warm day I have, I’ll probably be giving this a try outside.
In order to do this project, you’ll need access to bamboo skewers, matches, and tinfoil. The tinfoil is important, since that’s the body of the rocket and the fins. If you have a relative who’s a Tea Party member, you can just ask them for some; I’m sure they have an excess of tinfoil in the backyard bomb shelter.
Once you get all the materials you need together, follow the instructions as given in the video; by the time you’re all said and done, you’ll have the small tinfoil rockets and a portable launch pad for them.
