An Oklahoma teacher showed up to her first day of work drunk–and elected to spend some of her time sans pants.
Recently-hired Lorie Ann Hill showed up for work at Wagoner High School on Monday, failed to check in with administration officials, entered a classroom she said was hers, and removed her pants.
Hill was eventually discovered in the principal’s office, where staff had to restrain her. School officials found a pair of shorts for Hill to wear, and she confessed to enjoying some vodka in her car before work.
Despite officers finding a cup with a vodka odor in her car, and evidence that she commuted to work, she is only being charged with public intoxication, as there are no credible witnesses that can attest to Hill drinking before driving.
The school district refuses to comment, saying that this is a personnel matter.
Fortunately, students were not in the classroom at the time, as classes do not begin until Thursday.
