We’re utterly speechless.

Americans Against The Tea Party is a group committed to exposing the Tea Party’s lies, violence, racism, ignorance, intolerance, bigotry, and corporatist fascist efforts to subvert our democratic process – and we are organizing to defeat Tea Party/GOP candidates on ballots everywhere.

Either way, either political party, this country is screwed.

    • Sarah

That’s a convenient, lazy answer. It lets you look smart and lets you easily off the hook for doing anything. This is our country and we have to keep trying, regardless.

The freedom to own guns is in the constitution deliberately and for good reason. Don’t give up this freedom! fight to keep your guns. The new world order wants you defenceless

    • Ray

Limey, Please direct me to the legislation being proposed that will take away our firearms. I’ve been looking for it, I’ve been listening to hear about it, but so far I have not found a single politician talking about taking away our firearms. Also I would like to ask you if you have read the constitution deliberately, or have you just skimmed it ? Our second amendment is written in three separate ways. (yes there is more then one copy, It was hand written ya know). Mostly ts in the capitalization and punctuation. “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed”. If you want to be a strict constitutionalist it is clear that , “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms” is contingent on being part of “A well regulated Militia”. If you want to discuss this I’d be more then happy to.

Ray–right on! A voice of reason on here–you rock! You know, threatening the POTUS is a crime–just want to remind all of you haters of that befpre the men in black come and throw you in the clink for domestic terrorism–which is actually what you haters are–domestic terrorists, threatening our government. Now think about that one before you open your uneducated, hypocritical mouths.

Why should the US be different from the rest of the world. We kill too many or our own people (including children) because there are too many guns. I was once told how to get to my hotel in Tokyo, the most populous city in the world at the time,at midnight and that I would be perfectly safe if I took a cab, subway, or walked. I walked. Name someplace in the US you could do that with confidence – big city, town, small town. Un uh, I’m not doing it here. Did in Tokyo.

      • Martin

Tom, we can walk around Bryan Ohio with no problems. The same goes for the other towns in this county, and many people in the county own guns.

Is there any intelligent thought going on at the NRA? I think not.

    • Dalton

Do you even know anything about the NRA other than what you see on MSNBC or Huffpo? Do you know anything about firearms? Do you care anything about the personal freedoms we still enjoy as Americans, and that they aren’t given by the government, but are supposed to be protected by it? I think not.

      • Ray

Dalton, I am a member of the NRA and well educated about firearms. Please direct me to the legislation being proposed that will take away our firearms.
